I know your pain

I know your pain. I’ve experienced your frustration. I’ve lived the lack of self-belief that you suffer from, convincing yourself that you aren’t good enough, that you can’t do it, won’t do it or never will be able to do it. Those feelings of anxiety before performing, the fear of how you’ll feel when you let yourself down..again, and the dread you have when it comes to performing, knowing that you may fail again.

The knot in your stomach, the tension in your neck and shoulders and the nerves that make you feel sick. Every comment, every look you get from a coach, teammate or supporter you interpret as negative and you tell yourself how they don’t rate you and complain about you behind your back. It gets worse and worse as you try harder and you just can’t seem to think straight and make the clear decisions that you made when things were good.

The good news

The good news is that you don’t have to feel this way and you can experience real and powerful change in what you believe, what you think, how you feel and how you perform. It doesn’t matter how old or young you are or at what level you play, be the person that others won’t, by working with me to develop your mind to achieve what you really, really, really, really want in your sport.

We’ll work together to develop your mental toughness. You’ll complete the MTQPlus questionnaire and this will determine the precise nature of your 6-week coaching programme. The programme will focus on leaving you much more capable of handling the stresses, pressure and challenges of performing in your sport. This will help you will experience things in a very different way and allow you to train and compete with focus, confidence. commitment and energy. Most of all, you will develop the self-belief to overcome any challenge you face and have the tools to maintain your performance in any circumstance.

What I do

There are three things that a sports performer can work on, their craft, their body and their mind. All sports people invest huge amounts of time on their craft and their body, but very little time on their mind. If this approach is successful, then why do sports performers not perform to the maximum of their capability all the time? Why does form come and go? Why is it some days you just don’t feel ‘on it?’ Why is it you say to yourself “I never do well at this location / against this opponent? Why do sports performers compete with fear?

I have over 40 very powerful change techniques that can transform your beliefs, thoughts and emotional states. Some people will tell you that change has to take a long time. It doesn’t, it can happen very quickly with my guidance and support.
